Estimation fissuring of rock of the crystalline basement
(on an example of granite mountain range)
By working of granite deposits there is a task of granite grading on fissuring. The realization of SSP method allows to reveal cross tectonics fractures, zone of splitting of a rock, flat joints (subhorizontal cracks that may be revealed only at the last stage of processing of stone blocks usually).
In figures are theSSP-sections of a granite mountain range located in village Kuznechnoye (near Vyborg) and allocated for production of granite blocks. The necessity of doing two various on depth of sections (in this case 100 m and 10 m.) is caused that both sections give the various information.
On a 100-meter SSP-section the cross tectonics fractures zone is allocated and rock shattering zone (are shown by red colour) and also two zones of subhorizontal fissuring, that are on depth 20-25 m. and 45-50 m. (are shown by green colour). The deposition depth of these zones is increased to east.
On a 10-meter SSP-section the system of subhorizontal cracks located on depth 2-3,5 m is traced.
