Realization of engineering - geophysical researches by SSP method

     The engineering-geophysical researches by SSP method are applied in two cases: 1 - before the beginning of designing of building, for a choice of a site and choice of technology of construction, and 2 - for forecasting development of an emergency conditions.

  1.  Research of territory meant for construction of building.

  2. As a result of works will be cleared up:

    • zones with the lowered bearing capacity of a soil caused by tectonic dislocations;
    • floating earth (karsts).

    On the basis of the received information it is possible:

    • to place building in a zone with equal bearing capacity of a soil (or outside of a zone with the lowered bearing capacity, or inside this zone). It will allow to avoid non-uniform deformations at maintenance of a building, and consequently, transversal cracks in its walls;
    • in case of impossibility of accommodation of a building in a zone with equal bearing capacity of a soil to recommend use of the special actions allowing to neutralize influence of sites with lowered bearing capacity of a soil on building;
    • to estimate level of influence of construction on the located nearby buildings.

  3.  Study of a condition of a soil around of a building at occurrence of attributes of its destruction.

  4. As a result of researches may be discovered:

    • presence and location under a building of zones with the lowered bearing capacity of a soil;
    • presence of quicksand (karst).

    On the basis of the received information it is possible:

    • to define the reasons of destruction of a building;
    • to give the forecast about character of the further destruction of a building;
    • to estimate an opportunity of reconstruction of building;
    • to recommend the technical decision on strengthening a building.
